A more prepared populace across America is the only way to reduce division, neutralize toxic "isms", and rebuild our middle class.
America's unpreparedness-plagued economy is the other hidden "pandemic", for which intentional preparedness is the only vaccine.
What's unpreparedness anyway? It's a condition of unmet needs; a season of missed opportunities. Unpreparedness costs. How to break the cycle? It takes all of us preppers to create affordable access to resources to achieve preparedness equity, from womb to tomb. We'll begin to see a nation change in the right direction. Trust!
Do you have a preparedness product, service, or talent for teaching in any of the following 4 Resource Powers...
Get on the bus with us! We're headed to a more perfect union in our nation. God bless America!
Esther Kelly has lived through it all, 94 years, 1930 to present. She has seen the good, bad, and the ugly across nine decades. My mother is the wisest woman I’ll ever know.
When I informed her, back in 2019, about the alarming prediction, that by 2053, African Americans are predicted to have zero media wealth, she didn’t dismiss it, like so many others want to do.
Given her longevity, experience, and wisdom, I asked my mother how, how could this prediction persist, with so many wealthy African Americans, We have a whopping combined annual disposable income at $1.8 Trillion and growing.
Our intellectual prowess is irrefutable. We are now well represented and contribute intellectually to most every professional field imaginable.
In my mother’s lifetime, she’s lived to see an African American President, and possibly a 2nd! How can we be headed toward zero median wealth? ARE WE MERELY POSTURING AND NOT PROSPERING?
My mother then said 4 words that "dropped the mike" as they say. Four words that said it all! …
“We have no base!”, Wuh? I said. “WE HAVE NO BASE!”, she repeated.
In stark brevity my mother was expressing fact! We have no economic base by which our cultural collective investment grows and compounds, no multitude of culturally safe harbors - of brick and mortar- that we own, where our children and families are nourished and flourish.
Very few of these tangible expressions of cultural wealth exist, in spite of our $1.8 Trillion annually increasing income. Sure, we have our multitude of churches, a spiritual "base" that is now struggling financially. How many of our churches have "burned the Mortgage" for all time, paid in full?
Sure we can blame it all on our old nemesis, racism. My mother doesn't.
She remembers the Brook St/Liberty St. neighborhood of her Hartford, Connecticut youth. She says it wasn’t perfect, amidst the discrimination of the time, but we "owned" ourselves then and our futures held great expectations. Within the enclave of my mother's childhood neighborhood, there were two parent families, though hers was the exception. Mom's mother died when she was four. Her father refused to give up his 3 children, at the urging of "the state." His sisters came to town, to help out. Family was the main currency of mother's era.
Everyone lived within their means and trusted each other, often leaving doors unlocked. "We supported one another in good times and bad."
The memories persist, even as the familial ties became fragile, and the brick and mortar infrastructures vanished, due to urban renewal, integration, and the desire to assimilate.
Yes, here in 2024, mom says, “WE HAVE NO BASE!”, and it is the reason for all that we now face.
------------------------------------------------
The Solution? Honor the Ancestors and wise Elders. Rebuild the BA$E. Until we invest in, and BUILD our economic BASE, we are building every other culture's economic base first, rather than ours!
REBUILD OUR BA$E: both brick and mortar and VIRTUAL, so that it can never be burnt down…ever!
STEP UP! TAKE THE PLEDGE. REBUILD THE BASE.
At Century 5-10-10-75™ and its Campaigns, our goal is to engage 10,000 Futurists to become the visioneers and pioneers of a new preparedness-driven economic frontier:
TAKE THE PLEDGE:
a. Invest in kinship community business 5%+
b. Save 10%+
c. Give 10%
d. Reduce consumer spending to 75% or less.
3. Bank & Invest African American at least 5% 4. Support sustainability technologies for: Water, Communications, Power 5. Trust God 6. Begrudge no one their success, if they earned it through honest labor and self-preparedness. If they did to, trust God to judge their lot.
HONOR THE ANCESTORS AND WISE ELDERS. They still have the answers!

Hi, iPrep2Thrive Members and Patrons!
September is National Preparedness Month. This month’s theme has historic significance, as we prepare for an upcoming Election! In addition to the possibility of post-election shenanigans in November, the hurricane season, ongoing COVID outbreaks, an at-risk economy and global tensions combine to make family and collective preparedness more necessary than ever before.
Today is also the 23rd anniversary of 9/11. Back in 1996, the reasons that motivated me to begin promoting lifestyle readiness, even more so after 9/11, remain just as relevant today.
Preparedness means different things to everyone. "Doomsday prep" for some, Retirement & Investments Preparation for others. It's a wide spectrum.
Fortunately, my kids, only 6 and 9 then, only remember my “roughing it” in 1996 as the greatest outdoor adventure. I ran out of matches, so did the stores! Have you ever started a fire with a magnifier or a flint? Have you ever driven 50 miles just to get ice, to keep frozen food cold? Craziness! All I knew was that, amidst all of this, God is able.
Fast forward to 2024, I continue to promote what I call Tier 1 Preparedness, which includes having a sufficiency of the above POWERS: Water, Energy, Communications...in addition to food and essential documents.
While FEMA is telling us all to be ready to self-sustain for 3-7 days, the reality is closer to 21-30 days. Don’t be vulnerable to desperate decision-making when #SHTF. Be ready, for the duration.
This month I urge everyone to start where you are. Have a family dialogue and begin a project of Tier 1 Preparedness. These five goals below will help you harness the three powers: water, energy, communications.
Build your 21 - 30 Water and Food Pantry. Obviously, 21 days of water would take up huge space! As your space allows, start with 1/gal water per day per person for 7 days.
Fortify your Backup Power & Communications Preparedness, so no loved ones go amiss!
Build your #SHTF(Stuff Hits The Fan) Cash Stash & Precious Metal Assets. Use CashFlow 5-10-10-75™to "Bucket Boss" your money!
Furthermore I have launched the iPrep2Thrive MAG (Mutual Assistance Group) HUB, to focus specifically on sharing best practices for individual and collective preparedness of the Three Powers, before an at-risk event occurs.
All members already have access to content in The MAG.
If you are not an iPrep2Thrive member, Sign up! We’ve got the hook up for Tier 1 Preparedness Empowerment to keep your boat afloat in all seasons!

September is National Preparedness Month
The 2024-2025 Theme at iPrep2Thrive™ is "Fortify Your Borders"
Believe it or not, this theme is from a personal experience which became a metaphor for my preparedness strategies.
Dealing with a bug infestation. Not a glamorous Friday post, but hear me out...
True story: With the exception of 7 years as a homeowner, I lived my childhood in public housing and as an adult in conventional apartments. You had to ALWAYS build an OFFENSE against those nasty bugs - roaches - or else they'd plague your peace and quiet to no end.
Even high-priced apartments in urban cities and "bedroom" communities can have bugs. It doesn't always have to do with one's hygiene habits.
As I neared retirement, I moved into a beautiful 12 story senior building. I asked God for a room with a view. I got a 12th "penthouse studio" with a "window wall" and 180 degree view of the city. Daily sunsets are never the same. I praised God.
My new apt was initially pristine. I continued working, two jobs at the time, totally oblivious that some critters had taken up housekeeping in a plant by my window wall, that I watered regularly. By the time I retired and had time to just chill one evening, I saw a BIG A$$ roach run across my rug. I got no further sleep that night. Obviously, by day, while I was away, and by night an infestation had taken place.
After setting aside my guilt that I let this happen, I went to work, fortifying my borders. The reality was that this was a 50 year old building, the bugs were in the walls. Perhaps they always will be.
Other things I couldn't change, such as living in a senior building, among a diversity of people with different capabilities to keep clean.
Instead of complaining to management, I had to build my own OFFENSE. It took me 45 days to remove the last roach from my apartment. I'm thankful I live in a country where resources are readily available to get of a roach infestation!
If you're interested in my guaranteed effective methods, buy my book, Fortify Your Borders, available September 7, 2024 on my iPrep2Thrive@Shopify
They might still be present in the wall, but they have no way to get into my place! I live in peace. I love my apartment.
Won't God do it!?!
Fortify your life: (1) Financially, (2) Strategically, (3) Tactically, (4) Spiritually...let nothing enter to disturb your peace. Stay prepared for attacks to your fortifications. Preparedness pays! - iPrep2Thrive.com
BTW, I never had a bug problem as a homeowner, because the siding was made of cedar. https://outdooralive.com/does-cedar-repel-roaches/

A room with a view...
Hi All,
September is National Preparedness Month and iPrep2Thrive has gone MAG!
By September 1, iPrep2Thrive™ will evolve as a MAG (Mutual Assistance Group)
-------------------------------------------
What is a Mutual Assistance Group?
"A mutual assistance group, or MAG, is simply a group of people, often with various backgrounds, skills and resources who decide to work together and rely on one another to better deal with times of crisis, disaster and general trouble." - Modern Survival Online
----------------------------------
The iPrep2Thrive™ MAG is the first Christian and African American owned MAG that will innovate and create opportunity for members to fortify ability to better deal with times of crisis, disaster and general trouble. It's completely voluntary and will focus on
THREE EARTHLY POWERS...
1. 30-day FRESH WATER Resilience: Water Distillation, Rain Water Harvesting, Reduced water consumption, etc.
We are developing a robust generational communications infrastructure consisting of all communications assets that members bring to bear, to facilitate emergency response.
AND THE 4TH GREATEST POWER: FAITH, IN AN OMNIPOTENT AND LOVING GOD .
---------------------------
IN ADDITION...
iPrep2Thrive, an Christian and African American owned MAG, has the prime directive to circumvent the dire economic prediction that by 2053, African American average median wealth will be ZERO.
In response, all proceeds and revenues from iPrep2Thrive MAG operations will be deposited with African American and Faith Friendly banks, credit union institutions, and investment organizations.
The effect of this decision is to "churn" dollars at least twice in these "kinship" community economies, before exiting to the current "dominion" economy.
---------------------------------
The concept of a MAG, for iPrep2Thrive, was inspired by the example of the island of Bermuda, whose cultural pathology of "one for all, all for one" has created a preparedness strong island people. The island IS a MAG! They even have their own Credit Unions so their money churns multiple times before leaving the island. That's kinship community investment.
In their collective culture they recognized the most fundamental three EARTHLY POWERS, without which no family, community, or civilization can survive, revive, or thrive:
*Water *Communications *Mechanical/Electrical Power

Good Saturday Evening Prepare Our People at iPrep2Thrive FB members!
I got a confession to make...I am unapologetically a profit-minded Christian Capitalist. Yet, it seems profiting and capitalism have gotten a bad reputation, even though all of us practice it.
Do we go to a job everyday to work for free? No, we work, to derive a fair return on investment from our labors. Profit
Do we buy a product at any price? No, we buy it a price we are willing to pay. The producer makes the product available at a price the market will bear, in addition to delivering a return that exceeds the producer's cost. Profit. As it should be!
Do we not value private ownership in America? Homes, Commercial Real Estate? Those are all capital assets of appreciable value. Private ownership is possible for every citizen who prepares for ownership, in a free-market Capitalist economy (ideally.)
Is it possible then, that Capitalism and Profit are not bad at all. What is "bad" is the choice of inethical pathology adopted by governments and corporate entities. Profit vs. Profiteering.
In my humble opinion, here's why American capitalism has earned a bad reputation. It originated out of an inethical pathology of greed, aka Profiteering, beginning in 1619, when the ones with the guns and the whip derived excessive profit at the expense of helpless, unprepared captives of African descent.
Any country or economy that derives profit at the expense of the personal freedom, vulnerabilities, and unpreparedness of the people within it's borders, is a Profiteering, and therefore corrupt, Capitalist matrix, to which the pathology of greed will corrupt the entire government, political, and corporate matrix. It cannot go on forever.
The 1619 Legacy economic matrix was unsustainable from the moment it started. Why? Figuratively speaking, you can't keep one foot on people's backs without the entire infrastructure eventually tumbling.
An economic matrix, dominated by "bullies" will eventually collapse, and the oppressed will rise up in a quickening of preparedness and equity of financial, strategic, and tactical strength.
The challenge for any group, that has been previously oppressed, is to avoid becoming profiteers, like the bad guys.
Profit is Good. Profiteering. Not Good.
Let's all engage in ethical profit strategies and build back a better America. As as a reminder, on every note of American currency, in God We Trust.
Good Friday Prepare Our People at iPrep2Thrive FB members!
If you've joined the @Prepare Our People at iPrep2Thrive Facebook page because I asked you to, I truly appreciate YOU! But if you only want to hear pleasantries and platitudes, so not sorry to disappoint you.
I promote preparedness activism because I see what the future holds. As a futurist, I don't ignore or deny it. I pray for the best outcomes, and BUILD the best Offense for undesirable outcomes.
Prepare to never be a sitting duck for Project 2025. We've got Century 5-10-10-75!
Preparedness doesn't take away the fun and spontaneity in life...it gives it back better! Nonetheless, we've got work to do, mates!
By 2053, whether you choose to believe it or not, African American families are slated to have average zero median wealth. That means a 2nd captivity for our children and grandchildren. How could anyone want that! How is this possible?
Statistically, we spend 90+% of it all to the enrichment of other cultures, and not our own. Who respects a culture that does that?!!!!
Even if we have no more than a pot to pour water in, don't allow it to get lost to the state, through intestacy probate! Get that will & living will done!
Do you believe in the future? Is preparedness important to you?
Here's a solution, for our culture, our time: Practice 5-10-10-75 and churn at least 5% or your dollars back into the African American community, intentionally, into enterprises that reciprocate and invest in the African American community.
Discontinue sending your dollars into dry wells, where our worth is not watered.
Save, Give, Invest, Spend Less, and you will likely Prosper. Trust!
· 5% Kinship Community investment
· 10% - Pay it forward/Charity
· 10%- Saving
· 75% or less- consumer spending
5-10-10-75 is the only Prescription we need to revive, thrive, grow wealth, and succeed generation to generation in the Century to come. There is no other solution.
--------------
1. Build your 21 - 30 Water and Food Pantry. Obviously, 21 days of water would take up huge space! As your space allows, start with 1/gal water per day per person for 7 days.
2. Build your #SHTF Cash Stash & Precious Metal Assets. Use CashFlow 5-10-10-75™to "Bucket Boss" your money!
3. Acquire a life-cycle preparedness skill, i.e. (Five Mile Fitness, CPR, HAM radio, Solar Cooking, Canning, etc)
4. Fortify your Backup Power & Communications Preparedness, so no loved ones go amiss!
5. Prepare and save copies of essential documents. Will, Living Will , POA
Join Century 5-10-10-75 so that we survive, revive, and thrive together, for the next 100 years and beyond, preparedness-strong!
That Project 2025? It will have come and gone!
Happy Friday!

This is not a comfortable post, but a necessary post, about "Collective Courage"
Sonya Massey was murd@%$ered July 6th. It didn’t’ appear to make national news until the 3rd week of July. The response has been vigils, marches, protests, statements of outrage from regional and national "Black” "leaders."
Decade after decade, we always respond from the defensive position, a plea to stop hanging us, shooting us, bullying us: physically and economically. We drift back to our daily routine, hoping that racism won't rear it's ugly violent head upon us or someone in our family.
Sonya Massey was a daughter, and a mother. She had a full life ahead of her. She should have become a grandmother.
Now, no matter how many “Happy Saturdays” I post, my heart laments this senseless crime. “Sonya, you didn’t deserve this fate.” This latest tragedy was too close for comfort. My only daughter is around Ms. Massey’s age.
Even if Kamala Harris is voted President, it will not defuse racially motivated violence in America. Beyond November 5, 2024 we can probably expect a new surge of emboldened behavior no matter who wins. Wrap around Kamala Harris and her family in prayer and support. And VOTE!
I recently read a section of Jessica Gordon Nembhard's book "Collective Courage", which described the collective fearlessness in the face of adversity, which fueled the Civil Rights Marches of the 60’s resulting in the legislative and societal changes to which African Americans owe their current "freedoms."
To everything there is a season. We have come to another necessary season for "collective courage." A new "quickening" of fearlessness in the face of economic and societal adversity. I believe we have no choice now. Does America appear to be getting better, as a society? Here, in the African American community we have a suicide epidemic that can't be ignored...until tragedy comes knocking at your door!
Either we, the people of African ancestry, end the economic and physical bullying ourselves, or we will always be victimized here in America, with repetitious tragic consequences.
How do we do reduce and end the economic and physical bullying?
Amass and compound our $1.6 Trillion annual income into a force of legal, commercial, and transformational economic power. Only then will we be respected and perceived as a culture that values it's people, and protects it's women.
The cops barged in on Sonya Massey. They considered her unprotected, as most African American women are, and thus the renegade ones (not all cops are bad) transformed into predators.
Back in April, I inaugurated Century 5-10-10-75 as the most peacefully aggressive mobilization of preparedness industry and opportunity, emanating out of the Christian and African American community.
I emphasize peaceful. It is our cross to bear, as African Americans, not to return violence with violence. We have always been the moral compass of America in this regard, and must seek peaceful means to a more perfect union in the "United" States.
This is no consolation to the mother of Ms. Massey. She is due the vigils, marches, and protests for her daughter. Yet, now is the time for a mobilization of "collective courage" to end this pathology, for once and for all.
In view of these events, Century 5-10-10-75™ takes on a greater relevance as to the imperative of economic, strategic, and spiritual fortification within the Christian and African American diaspora, as a means of preservation and self-protection.
Century 5-10-10-75™ combines the "triple threat" of collective FAITH, PREPAREDNESS, AND MONEY to create a formidable OFFENSE to oppose and mitigate acts of racial extremism we a currently facing in the U.S. Preparedness = POWER. We must become the God's people you don't want to mess with, because we're prepared to kick evil to the curb. That's "collective courage."
Century 5-10-10-75 is now a Campaign for the next 100 years to support initiatives to build a preparedness-driven economy of industry and opportunities to empower families financially, strategically, spiritually...for the purpose of collective preservation, prosperity, and protection.
Our goals:
The African American community will take control of our $1.6 Trillion Bad Spending Habits. Become the BUCKET BOSS of our dollars. Use 5-10-10-75 and give every dollar a job, and turn it into churning POWER.
Let's Pray. Prepare. Build...and never let the dust settle. That's how we subdue and end the racialized bullying.
I don't want to see another innocent man, woman, or child lost to this senseless killing. Don't you feel the same? Let's make it so.
That's how we honor Sonya, George, Trayvon, Ahmaud Aubrey. Too many. Never forget them.
Fundraiser by James Wilburn and Raymond Massey : Justice for Sonya Massey (gofundme.com)
Evolution of the mind is a good thing, yet sometimes an uncomfortable reckoning with self.
Where I was decades ago is not where I am now. As an expression African cultural pride, I was "Black" in the 60s,70s, 80s, 90s, 20s up until April 8, 2024, when I resumed my nationality and ethnicity.
On April 8th, as a total Eclipse took place over Niagara Falls, I became American, of African descent, intentionally, as a psychological dismemberment of the toxic, antiquated, artificial construct of "race" imposed upon my ancestors.
The Ancestors came to these shores as captive Nigerians, Ghanaian, Sierra Leonians, so many others. In their minds they were not a faceless, cultureless, mass of "blacks."
On a glorious April Eclipse Day at Niagara Falls, I decided where my worth is watered. My wealth and worth can never flourish, as God intended, in the dry well of "race", imposed by the supremacist's need to dismember another culture's humanity, in order to elevate their own. It was always a faulty foundation of lies, destined to tumble.
"Race" is antiquated, scientifically unfounded, and must die, if the Human Race is to survive. Don't get it twisted. I'm not referring to ethnicity, culture, tribe, kinship, men, women. These are legitimate God-given self-identities.
I contend that as long as we legitimize "white", we co-sign "black." Don't misunderstand, I don't judge others who continue to self-identify as "black" or "Black". We all have a right to self-identify as we want. Just own the history and the territory you have chosen to identify with! Amen?!
Having said the above, the context in which African Americans continue to use "Black" remains primarily a reference of pride and identity with African American culture.
It is different from the desultory manner in which the mainstream media now uses it, i.e. "Blacks suffer from this...", "Blacks have been found to engage in more cannabis use...", "In a recent study it was found that blacks scratch their butts more than other races...yada, yada, yada" and all sorts of gibberish studies. Going forward, observe for yourself.
Once you know, you can't unknow. Feedback welcome.
Check out this sister's revelation.
